CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS:
The oval column is made of sandblasted solid wood AKAKIAS. When we refer to solid wood, we mean woods made entirely from the trunk of a tree. Solid wood is the most expensive choice in terms of wood, but stands out for its timeless aesthetics. The effect it offers to its owner is truly unique. Sandblasting gives the feeling of well-preserved age to the wood.
Acacia wood is one of the best types of wood on the market. Its mechanical strength and mechanical properties approach those of other well-known woods, such as beech, oak, afzelia, teak and others. It is of high biological resistance, i.e. it shows excellent resistance to the action of microorganisms that could destroy the material and constructions.
The existing cracks or those that may be created over time are due to the contraction-expansion of the living organism which is called solid wood, and do not constitute a manufacturing defect. Also, there may be color variations and differences in product dimensions due to the dimensions of the treated wood. These are not a defect of the product.
MAINTENANCE:
The table does not require special maintenance. A pass with a damp cloth is enough, and if there are stains with a gentle spray from the many on the market. In general, even in the case of stains, the secret is quick cleaning before the wood has time to “water”. The same applies to marble.
