MATERIALS:
The frame of the armchair is made of excellent quality solid TEAK wood. When we refer to solid wood, we mean woods made entirely from the trunk of a tree. Solid wood is the most expensive choice in terms of wood, but it stands out for its timeless aesthetics.
Teak is the most popular type of hardwood. It is yellow to dark brown in color, extremely heavy, high strength, weather resistant, chip resistant and does not decompose. Often, the waters of his wood are strong and straight. It is used for a variety of interior constructions.
The seat and back are made of PU leather. This is synthetic leather and has a linen texture. Synthetic leather is the evolution of leatherette but with the main characteristic that it is not easily distinguished by the eye from real leather. Its composition is basically polyurethane and polyamide micro-fibers in contrast to leatherette which basically contains PVC.
MAINTENANCE:
The fact that TEAK is included in the hard wood, makes it very easy to maintain. All it needs is a dusting and when necessary a cleaning with a damp cloth.
Also, PU leather does not need much maintenance because it does not wear easily, does not show “stretch marks”, and the color is not affected by sunlight irradiation. One pass with a soft damp cloth is enough. If there is a stain that does not come out with a wet cloth, then only a mild detergent with a neutral effect is used.
