The set of 2 coffee tables KREST consists of 2 tables of different sizes in BROWN color with a travertine surface in its WHITE color. MATERIALS OF CONSTRUCTION:
The set is made of solid AKAKIAS wood. Acacia wood is one of the best types of wood on the market. Its mechanical strength and mechanical properties approach those of other well-known woods, such as beech, oak, afzelia, teak and others. It is highly biologically resistant, i.e. it exhibits excellent resistance to the action of microorganisms that could destroy the material and constructions.
The surface is made of travertine. Travertine is a type of limestone sedimentary stone formed from mineral deposits from natural water sources. The chemical process that creates travertine gives it its amazing texture and makes each piece unique. It gives a rustic and “warm” feeling to any space.
*The existing cracks or those that may be created over time are due to the contraction-expansion of the living organism called massif wood, and do not constitute a manufacturing defect, giving originality and unique design to your space. During the production process, existing cracks are smoothed and stabilized with material made from the same wood. Therefore, there may be color variations and differences in product dimensions due to the dimensions of the treated wood. These are not a defect of the product.
MAINTENANCE:
The set does not require much maintenance. A pass with a damp cloth is enough, and if there are stains with a gentle spray from the many on the market. Generally, even with stains the secret is a quick clean before the wood has a chance to “wet”.
Usually, a quick wipe with a damp cloth is enough to clean the travertine. In the event that acidic materials are spilled on it, we recommend cleaning it up quickly before it is absorbed by the stone. You can also use commercially available stone sealers for long-term protection.
