MANUFACTURING MATERIALS:
The frame of the chair is made of excellent quality Chinese TOON wood, which gives it solidity and great durability. TOON is a species of mahogany and is a large deciduous tree, reaching 20 m – 30 m (70 ft -100 ft) in height and 1.8 m – 3 m (6 ft -10 ft) in girth, with a large opening towards its top, and shallow roots. Widely used for furniture making, it is tolerant of any pH and adapts to a variety of soil types, but prefers moist, well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. It is often cut back to keep it shorter and more bushy.

The seat and back are made of PU leather. This is synthetic leather and has a linen texture. Synthetic leather is the evolution of leatherette but with the main characteristic that it is not easily distinguished by the eye from real leather. Its composition is basically polyurethane and polyamide micro-fibers as opposed to leatherette which basically contains PVC.

MAINTENANCE:
Thanks to the durable construction materials, the chair is user-friendly. Especially TOON wood, which is a type of mahogany, does not warp, swell, or shrink. Also, PU leather does not need special maintenance because it does not wear easily, does not show “stretch marks”, and the color is not affected by sunlight. One pass with a soft damp cloth is enough. If there is a stain that does not come out with a wet cloth, then only a mild detergent with a neutral effect is used.
