MANUFACTURING MATERIAL:
The surface is made of solid TEAK wood. Teak wood is the most popular type of hardwood. It is extremely heavy, high-strength, weather-resistant, chip-resistant and non-decomposing. Often, the waters of his wood are strong and straight. It is used for a variety of interior and exterior constructions.
— The cracks that may be created over time are due to the contraction-expansion of the living organism called solid wood, and are not a manufacturing defect, giving originality and unique design to your space. During the production process, existing cracks are smoothed and stabilized with material made from the same wood. Therefore, there may be slight color variations of the product. These are not a defect of the product.
MAINTENANCE:
The fact that TEAK is included in the hardwoods makes it very easy to maintain. All that is needed is a dusting and when necessary a cleaning with a damp cloth.
Important Note:
The package does NOT include screws to fix the surface.
Before installing screws, you should check their size to avoid damage to the surface.
CAUTION* The table support base should ideally cover 70% of the surface.
It is recommended that the surface be shaded because exposure to the sun may cause problems to the surface.
