MATERIALS:
The seat and the back of the chair are upholstered with PU leather. This is also known as artificial skin. It has the texture of linen fabric. Artificial leather is the evolution of leather but with the main characteristic that it is not easily distinguishable to the eye from real leather. The composition of PU leather is basically polyurethane and polyamide micro-fibers in contrast to leatherette which contains mainly PVC, so the material does not “breathe”.
The arms and the base of the chair are made of reinforced polyethylene that has the ability to withstand enormous weight and demonstrates great resistance to any type of stress, while at the same time keeping the overall weight of the chair at tolerable levels.
The suspension is metal with weight resistance up to 120 kg, and has a black plastic cover.
The castors are also made of the same material with a soft polyurethane surface for quiet rolling and floor protection, while the connecting pins to the base are made of reinforced steel for excellent weight resistance.
MAINTENANCE:
The chair does not need special maintenance because the PU leather does not wear easily, does not show “stretch marks”, and the color is not affected by sunlight radiation. One pass with a soft damp cloth is enough. If there is a stain that does not come out with a wet cloth, then only a mild detergent with a neutral effect is used.
The rest of the polyethylene chair parts are incredibly durable and can be cleaned with a wet cloth.
The castors should be cleaned of hair that accumulates on the rolling shafts to avoid any difficulty in rolling.
It is recommended to avoid using strong bleaches on any part of the chair.
