Suar wood comes from the Albizia Saman tree, also known as the Rain Tree, native to South America. This tree was introduced to Indonesia as a plantation species. The heartwood is close in tone to walnut, while the rest of the wood is lighter in color. When properly dried, Suar wood is extremely strong and durable. Like every snowflake, each piece of Suar wood is unique. The grain pattern may vary significantly, making one piece more appealing to one customer than another.
CARE:
Thanks to the durability of this wood, it is very easy to maintain. All it needs is regular dusting, and when necessary, a wipe-down with a damp cloth.
